Good morning LHOCC,
Where I am as a HOH is focusing on TREI on the elements of control.
I had Alpha Kae Trei provide his downline with the following definition:
An illusion is a misperception resulting from a trick of the senses, or something that is not as it appears.
A hallucination is one type of illusion.
A delusion refers to a dangerously deceptive idea. Generally, delusion is only used in contexts that involve a dangerous idea.
My question to the House:
TREI: what is the difference in a slave giving an Owner an illusion of control versus total control?
My beta Brianna Trei’s response :
Thank You, Ma’am.
An illusion of control suggests that the slave states and acts as though the Master/Mistress is in control. That slave has no integrity and acts with autonomy when not with or near their Master/Mistress.
Total control is the slave remaining cemented where the Master/Mistress left them without a thought to disobey. Be it a physical place or an emotional state.
I “loved” it and am still analyzing the elements of control, illusion, and delusions thereof and how it impacts what we do.
For instance:
Is a Dominant & ward delusional regarding the health of the connection when they are repeatedly engaged in a power struggle? Or, to think control is inherently a static state within a Dynamic.
Please share your thoughts, lessons learned or best practices on Control.
I am ever learning.
Thank you for being on this path with TREI.
